1. Stand Firm
Stand Firm assists athletes in career planning, financial-, and legal matters. Stand Firm may act as an intermediary in employment mediation transactions. Stand Firm can also be appointed a scout or negotiator on behalf of a team, player or organization.
Stand Firm provides assistance to their clients in a multitude of services, for example contracts, wealth planning, tax, insurances, investments, coaching (physical and mental) and others.
In order to provide these services, Stand Firm collects and processes the necessary personal data of different data subjects.
2. The objective of data processing
Stand Firm collects personal data amongst others of clients, website visitors, suppliers, job applicants, staff and partners.
Stand Firm collects personal data for specific purposes.
Firstly, we use your personal data to communicate with you so we can perform our services.
Secondly, Stand Firm assists clients with tax declarations, wealth planning, investments, insurances, and many more. Therefore, Stand Firm collects data that may be necessary or useful for the above services. Information as for example national register number, family composition, financial data, marriage contract details, employment contracts, etc. will be stored and collected.
The processing of this personal data may be necessary for the execution of our agreements, can rely on the data subjects consent or can be performed in our legitimate interest. (art. 6.1 GDPR)
We store your data in digital and/or paper format.
3. Duration of the storage
The data that we keep will be kept for as long as the cooperation lasts and for a maximum of 2 years after the cooperation was contractually terminated, unless it is appropriate to keep the data for a longer period for specific purposes.
4. Why do we collect and store your data?
We store your data to assist you in different areas so that we can perform our services properly.
We have your personal and contact details to communicate with you about the services we provide (for example: career planning, financial and tax obligations,…). This way, we can advise and assist the client with regard to the questions he/she has.
Stand Firm facilitates clients in their search for the best club to make optimal use of their career. Stand Firm may interact with the club, organisation or player to get the best deal for the person who is represented. In that context, Stand Firm may share the necessary data to another party and vice versa.
We have the right to share the necessary data of you (national register number, composition of the family, financial data, tax declarations, …) with other companies with whom we collaborate to provide our services. We as Stand Firm, are aware that we have to handle your data with the necessary care. If we need to share data with companies or parties outside the European Economic Area, Stand Firm cannot be held responsible for the privacy protection of this third parties. Of course, Stand Firm only shares the necessary data to the third party to provide a specific service.
5. What if something goes wrong with your data?
If Stand Firm identifies a particular problem that favours a data leakage, the firm has to take the necessary measures to prevent further damage. Within 3 days the problem will be communicated to the particular client.
Clients are aware that the transfer of data is never 100% secure and thus, Stand Firm cannot guarantee this security.
If Stand Firm has to share clients’ data to a third party, the third party has the obligation to be in accordance with all the regulation of GDPR and this Privacy Policy.
6. Client rights
Every client has the right to have insight into, to correct or to erase their personal data. Clients can also ask to receive their data collected by Stand Firm. To exercise any of the above rights, send an e-mail to [email protected] with attached a copy of your identity card (front and back).
